Three small hotels on the Alentejo coast, given one quiet voice and a booking flow guests finish.

Guests booked three hotels and found one family. We gave it one name, and let each house keep its own light.
The brief
Inês Valadares runs three houses: Milfontes, Zambujeira and Porto Covo. Each had its own name, logo and booking engine, so guests who loved one rarely found the other two.
Seventy-eight per cent of rooms were sold through travel agencies at up to 18% commission. The old booking flow lost two in three guests before payment.
The idea
Mareta comes from maré, the tide that sets the rhythm of the coast. One family name, three houses, each photographed at the hour guests actually use the rooms: early light, siesta shade, the last half hour of sun.
The voice is quiet and exact. Prices include tax from the first screen. Nothing on the site shouts.
What we made
- Naming and brand platform
- Identity, signage and print
- Website, designed and built
- One booking flow across three houses
- Photography direction

Named after the tide
Maré is the tide. On this coast it decides when you swim, when the fishermen go out and when dinner starts. The brand keeps the same unhurried rhythm.
What a guest holds
The key, the letter and the card on the pillow are the brand most guests remember. One set for three houses; only the address and the light change.
